Attention cocktail lovers, Amsterdam Cocktail Week is coming! From Monday 6 to Sunday 12 March 2017 the best bars of Amsterdam will teach you all about the art of cocktail shaking. To help you get around town a special illustrated city map will be available from January on, with all participating bars and the program. Not a big fan of alcohol or still holding on to your New Year’s resolutions? Amsterdam Cocktail Week got you covered. All bars will pay just as much attention to the creation of non-alcoholic cocktails. Think exciting flavour combinations and surprising ingredients. No mixed juices but the real deal. See you there!

Bars
You can find a full overview of all 50+ participating bars in Amsterdam. We have selected the bars based on criteria such as hospitality, quality of mixed drinks, atmosphere and general awesomeness. We have divided them in four categories. Firstly, we have the dedicated Cocktailbars, where shaking and stirring drinks is the main thing. Then we have Hotelbars. The cocktail also takes the centre stage here but hotelbars are different from other cocktailbars, so we gave them a section of their own. And to show how the cocktail has expanded, we have also a large number of restaurants where mixed drinks are an important part of their concept. Some restaurants serve full blown cocktails, and we have created the category “Cocktails & Food” for them. But cocktails aren’t limited to shaking and stirring: also properly crafted longdrinks are considered cocktails. For restaurants serving this kind of drink we have created the “Longdrinks & Food” section. You can see how amazingly creative we are!

50 bars
The first edition of the Amsterdam Cocktail Week is upon us and all the leading bars in Amsterdam will participate in making this a memorable first edition. Over 50 bars have responded positively to our initiative and are setting up to welcoming you in their home with specially designed Signature Drinks. These drinks are dedicated to brands that have helped us create the Amsterdam Cocktail Week. This impressive number of participating bars shows how fast the city has grown and how big the diversity amongst these bars and restaurants is. And you can discover this by yourself in March!

After London, Paris and Singapore it now time for Amsterdam to showcase the class and diversity of its bars to the world! In the last few years, Amsterdam has caught up with other capitols of the world and many new hotels, bars and restaurants have opened their doors. And they’re all serving the most amazing drinks. To show you where these bars are and what you can drink there, we have launched a complete website for you discover all these amazing bars. All bars will offer 2 discounted signature cocktails, specifically for this week. One cocktail will be with alcohol and linked to one of the sponsoring brands. The other cocktail will be non-alcoholic as we want to offer an alternative to those who come by car or those who prefer to move around town without alcohol.
Non-alcoholic
Cocktails are for everyone to enjoy, whether you fancy drinking alcohol or not. So, if you find yourself in a great bar during the Cocktail Week, looking for something without alcohol, you are no longer limited to some mainstream mixers. Every participating bar will serve a signature non-alcoholic drink for € 5 only and you will be in for a treat! Make sure to take the collectible recipe card with you, so you can re-create the drinks you loved most at home.
